GRIP (Belgium)

GRIP is an independent research center created in 1979 and based in Brussels (Belgium). GRIP’s main aims are study, research, information and training on peace, defence and disarmament with a view to improving international security in Europe and throughout the world. GRIP’s research work focuses mainly on: armament and disarmamant (arms production, trade and control), the European Union defence project, and conflict prevention and resolution in Africa.
